Carrom — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026 · Carrom is made by 22Softwares.

This policy covers the Carrom game on Android, iOS and the web (carrom.22softwares.com). We collect as little as the game needs.

What stays on your device

Your progress — coins, purchases made with in-game coins, settings, statistics and achievements — is saved on your device. If you don't sign in, it stays there only; uninstalling the app or clearing the site's data removes it.

Signing in (optional)

You can play without an account. If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we use Google Firebase Authentication to confirm who you are and keep:

We don't receive your password, and we use the email only to identify your account.

Online play

When you play online we keep, on our own server in Germany:

In the apps you can allow notifications (a daily reminder and game news). They use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, which gives your device a random token; you can turn them off in your device settings at any time.

Other players see your username, avatar and rating. Like every web server, ours also sees your IP address while you are connected; we use it only to run and protect the service and do not store it with your player data.

Advertising

The game is free and shows ads: in the apps from Google AdMob, on the web from Google AdSense (H5 Games Ads). Google may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), approximate location from your IP address, and information about the ads you see, to show and measure ads. See how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Where the law asks for it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice at any time in the game's Settings → Ad privacy choices. On iOS the app asks for permission before tracking, and you can change it in the iPhone's Settings → Privacy → Tracking. You can also reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings.

What we don't do

Children

Carrom is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Keeping your data

Online data is kept while you play and removed when it is no longer needed for the service. Unfinished matches are removed within a day; an account and its saved progress are kept until you delete it (Settings → Delete account) or ask us to.

Deleting your Carrom account and data

In the game (immediately): open Settings and tap Delete account at the bottom, then confirm. Your account and the data below are deleted from our server at once, and the game starts over on that device.

Without the game (for example after uninstalling it), you can ask us to delete your Carrom account (Carrom Board: Disc Pool Game, by 22Softwares):

  1. Send a deletion request to info@22softwares.com (or 22softwares.com/contact) with the subject “Delete my Carrom account”, your username, and the email you signed in with, if any.
  2. We confirm by email and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted: your sign-in link (account id and email), your saved progress, your username and avatar, your online rating and results, and your player id.

What is kept: nothing that identifies you. Anonymous match counts may remain in our statistics. Ad data is held by Google, not by us; you can reset your advertising ID in your device settings.

Only want some data removed (for example your rating or results) without deleting the account? Ask the same way and say what to remove. Progress saved only on your device is removed by uninstalling the app or clearing the site's data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
